Examination and Promotion

The performance of a student is assessed regularly by formative and summative assessments. The progress of a student is judged not only by his/her studies but also by the overall performance throughout the year including co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The school uses various tools of evaluation such as informal tests, observations, Experimentations, Explorations, presentations, and work sheets etc. as part of formative and summative assessments. The pattern of assessment for class I to X is based on the school based Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation scheme as directed by the CBSE.

Subjects like Value Education, General Knowledge and computer will be assessed internally and grades will be awarded. No re-assessment will be conducted in any subject.

The promotion of a child does not depend merely on his/her marks of annual examination but also on his/her performance throughout the year, certain percentage of the marks of terminal assessment, U.T. and model assessment will also be counted for promotion.

All cases of doubt regarding promotion are left entirely to the discretion of the Principal. His decision will be final. A PUPIL FAILING TWICE IN THE SAME CLASS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE HIS/HER STUDIES IN THE SCHOOL. The principal reserves the right of demanding withdrawal of any Pupil.
